DIC

District Industry Center [DIC] is functional in the district to create industrial environment, to coordinate installation of industries and to promote industrial expansion and diversification. Apart from this, coordination between different departments and agencies like RIICO, RFC, Revenue, Banks etc is also an important objective of the DIC to overcome the industry-related problems.   

DIC issue temporary and permanent registrations for the industrial activities. It provide loans under Pradhanmantri Rojgar Yojana and Grah Udyag Yojana. Accident insurance is covered for working labour of Powerloom units and camps are organised at various levels to promote industrial culture and awareness.

SINGLE WINDOW SYSTEM  

Under this system, all sanctions and approvals are given at one place and no separate application are required for different departments for setting up an industry. Further, all activities are time-bound and investments upto Rs. 3 crores can be finalised at DIC level. District level high-powered committee is functional to monitor this system.
